Chris is a man with a healthy appetite and a way with words.
Born in Belfast and raised on the UK's Lancashire coast, Chris spent his formative years working in hotels and restaurants. He washed pots and pans and observed chefs at close quarters before moving front of house; over time, he learned how kitchens and hospitality worked.
In London, he founded an award-winning communications agency that specialised in events and hospitality. Looking back, Chris has lived the highs and lows of business ownership and come out the other side smiling. And still hungry.
As the founder and Editor of Starters, he combines his love of cooking and appreciation of what it takes to run a business - to tell the stories of people working hard to make life taste better.
